Sponsor contract
Sponsor Terms
Version 2026-09-01
These terms govern paid sponsor placements on Court97. Production Checkout remains disabled until the operator identity, provider approval, and release gates are complete.
Operator identification
“Court97,” “we,” and “the operator” mean the legal person that will operate the service. Its exact legal name, liability status, registered address, and legal, support, and takedown contacts must be published here before production Checkout can open; until then, no paid contract is offered.
What you buy
Each Checkout buys one independent, dollar-denominated placement on a changing sponsor ladder, not traffic or engagement. The first placement starts at $5; after that, a new rank-one placement must be at least $5 above the highest captured amount, and Stripe charges the full amount selected for every completed purchase.
The same domain may purchase multiple independent placements, and older placements remain on the ladder when a new one is bought. Refunds, disputes, moderation, and payment reversals affect only the placement funded by that Checkout.
Rank is determined by captured amount, highest first, with the earlier placement ahead on a tie. Opening Checkout does not reserve a price: Stripe first authorizes the card, and Court97 processes successful authorizations in their Stripe-recorded order. Successful authorizations in the same Stripe timestamp second use the lower PaymentIntent ID first. If an earlier captured payment makes your selected amount too low, Court97 releases your authorization without capturing it and shows the new minimum; your bank may still display a temporary pending hold while it processes that release. Later higher purchases can still move any placement down.
Placement and activation
Rank one receives the scoreboard, menu, arena-band hero, and share-card placement; ranks two through five receive arena-band placement; other active paid sponsors are eligible for the public board. Standing activates only after Stripe reports captured payment, while favicon preparation and any enabled sponsor audio happen asynchronously and can fall back to Court97 artwork or generic audio without delaying the ladder.
The board may publish coarse aggregate counts such as online users, total visitors, and sponsor clicks. Placement provides no guaranteed rank duration, exclusivity, impressions, clicks, traffic, sales, conversion, or uninterrupted audio.
Your warranties
You warrant that the company or operator details you provide to Stripe are valid, you have authority to act for the displayed domain and buy its placement, you are an adult with capacity to contract, and your brand, tagline, destination, goods, and services comply with every law and rule that applies where you and your audience are located.
Your purchase also accepts the versioned Sponsor Rules and Privacy Policy linked above. Their versions, together with this Terms version, are recorded on each Checkout attempt from the single acceptance checkbox.
Removal, refunds, and payment risk
We may pause, reject, or remove a listing immediately for rights complaints, abuse, malware, deceptive conduct, payment risk, legal demands, or rule violations. Sponsor-caused removal, loss of rank through higher placements, creative fallback, ordinary downtime, or failure to produce expected results does not create a refund right.
We may refund duplicate charges, amounts captured through a verified system failure, or other amounts we agree were not properly due. Refunds, disputes, and payment reversals reduce the placement they funded and can pause the listing; nothing in these terms excludes a refund, remedy, or liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.
Availability and liability
Court97 is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent allowed by law, the operator does not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free media, continued placement surfaces, or any business outcome, and liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected placement.
