Game Rules
Two minutes, one hoop. Everyone plays the same rules on the same court — here is exactly how points are earned.
The round
A round lasts 120 seconds. Drag and release with touch or mouse, or use the keyboard: arrows aim, Space shoots, Shift moves faster. Every run is replay-validated on the server before it can rank.
Scoring
A make is worth 10 points. Clean swishes add +5, mid-range shots add +5, and deep shots add +10 — so a clean deep make is 25 before any streak or multiplier.
Streaks and heat
Consecutive makes climb the heat ladder: from the second make in a row, each rung adds a +5 streak bonus per extra make, capped at +30. Deep streaks also earn extra clock — +2 seconds at streak 5, +5 at 6, and +7 per make from 7 — capped at 15 bonus seconds per round. A miss resets the streak.
Money time
Shots released in the final ten seconds score double. A shot released before the horn still counts if it drops within the buzzer grace window.
The leaderboard
Your best validated run of the day ranks on the daily board under your display name. Scores from retired rule versions never mix with current ones. See where you stand on the rankings.
Fair play
The server is the referee: replays that fail validation are not ranked, and submissions arriving after their deadline are rejected. Sponsor placements follow their own Sponsor Rules.
